The Interdisciplinary Encyclopedia of Religion and Science (INTERS) is a dynamic, on-line only data base, consisting in extensive, updated entries, signed by scholars who are accomplished in both scientific and humanistic research work. The Encyclopedia is published by the Centro di Documentazione Interdisciplinare di Scienza e Fede operating at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (p.zza sant'Apollinare, 49 - 00186 Rome), and it was released on line in 2005. The Encyclopedia, edited by G. Tanzella-Nitti, A. Strumia and P. Larrey, is updated monthly. It provides sound review articles in the rapidly growing international field of Religion and Science, offering a readable and comprehensive summary of what is currently being discussed on specific topics as well as how these topics were discussed historically. INTERS articles make available a helpful window into the approaches and perspectives of the academic community towards what has become a field of greatest cultural significance for today's public debate.
